中央昆士蘭大學(Central Queensland University，簡稱CQU)成立於1967年，是由政府設立並且最具創新的大學之一。CQU擁有十個校區，是澳洲最早跨州開設國際校區的大學，主 校區位於氣候溫和、生活費低廉的城市—Rockhampon(距離布里斯本約500km)，另外在布里斯本、黃金海岸、雪梨及墨爾本等地區亦設有國際校 園，現有超過2萬名在校學生，以及來自60多個不同國家的國際學生。
中央昆士蘭大學(Central Queensland University，CQU)身為澳洲當地最好的大學之一，根據澳洲權威排名Good Universities Guide 2008年中，畢業生起薪、理想的畢業水準、 多元文化性、對待教育或文化背景弱勢學生的公平性，均列為五顆星。2012年則在Teaching Quality被評為昆士蘭州TOP 3，澳洲排名高居第14位，近幾年也都連續名列最高就業率大學前十名，畢業起薪為5星。
